Success Stories: From Inquiry to Partnership

Real conversations, real results. See how we transform initial inquiries into long-term successful partnerships.

CA Sports Compression Socks

The client came to us with an existing 20–30 mmHg compression sock and needed a new factory to reproduce the same feel and structure, change the colour to black and grey, add “20–30” and the size on the sole, and deliver a first order of 3,000 pairs.

They were worried that changing suppliers would change the fit their customers were used to, and wanted clear MOQ, pricing and sizing before committing to a new partner for both socks and, later on, matching compression sleeves.

Initial Inquiry - “First Contact & Product Requirements”

  • 20–30 mmHg sports compression socks, not generic stock styles
  • Same material and feel as their current socks
  • Colorway changed from blue to a black + grey mix
  • “20–30” and size knitted clearly on the sole
  • Comparing thickness options, looking for a thicker version

Samples Received & Style Fine-Tuning

After sending physical samples, the client wanted us to analyze the socks and then make small adjustments to the branding and sizing while keeping the pair they liked.

  • Relies on us to reverse-engineer and match the mailed samples

  • Wants to keep the chosen sock but simplify branding to a cleaner black look

  • Needs consistent size grading (M, L, etc.) that’s easy to understand and use

MOQ, Pricing & Final Product List

After receiving the samples, the client was fully satisfied with the fit and compression and decided to proceed to bulk production, also adding matching sleeves to the plan.

  • Needs clear MOQ and pricing by size and color

  • Hopes to bundle socks and compression sleeves into one coordinated order

  • Requires our products to align with their existing sizing and material specs

  • Depends on a formal quote and invoice to push internal payment approval

Packaging, Shipping & Balance Payment

During production and delivery, the focus shifted to packaging completion, freight calculation, shipping details and arranging the final payment.

  • Needs a firm ready/packaging date to schedule the balance payment

  • Looks to us to handle freight calculation and shipping arrangements to their address

  • Expects packaging, payment confirmation and shipment updates to be clear and timely

US Maternity & Nursing Brand

A renowned maternity brand reached out to us with a specific challenge: creating a premium 20–30 mmHg graduated compression sock that didn’t feel like a medical garment. Unlike standard nylon options, they required a specialized material to ensure the product was ultra-soft, breathable, and moisture-wicking. They needed a manufacturing partner who could achieve this specific high-compression rating while incorporating their signature aesthetic prints.

The client’s uncompromising focus was on ‘Comfortable Compression.’ The main technical hurdle was maintaining the firm 20–30 mmHg support while achieving a cloud-like, skin-friendly texture essential for pregnant women. We engineered a custom knit with a cushioned sole for extra support and optimized the material ratio. This ensured the socks provided effective swelling relief without being overly tight or difficult to put on, perfectly matching their premium positioning.

Since 2020, we have been their exclusive manufacturing partner for this category, scaling from initial R&D to consistent mass production. Our ability to maintain strict quality control over complex functional fabrics has helped them establish this product as a bestseller in their niche

Initial Inquiry - “First Contact & Product Requirements”

Phase 1: The Inquiry & Material Discovery

The Challenge: “Medical Function x Fashion Aesthetic” The project began with a specific request from a leading US-based maternity brand. They needed to develop a line of knee-high compression socks that matched the performance of medical-grade support (referencing a specific 20–30 mmHg benchmark) but featured the aesthetic of a high-end fashion brand.

Our Solution: The “Hand-feel” Test Recognizing that comfort is paramount for maternity wear, we didn’t just quote a price. Instead, we curated and shipped a comprehensive Material Sampling Kit to the client, allowing them to physically compare different compositions:

  • Bamboo Viscose Blends (Focus on softness & breathability)

  • Four-channel wicking polyester (Focus on moisture-wicking)

  • Cotton & Nylon Blends (Focus on durability)

Phase 2: Client Feedback & Customization

The Winner: Bamboo Viscose After rigorous testing, the client selected our Bamboo blend as the definitive material. Their feedback confirmed our recommendation:

“We have reviewed your sample and really like the bamboo sock you sent. It has very nice handfeel!”

Refining the Details: The “Soft Metallic” Challenge With the base material set, we moved to the design phase involving specific Pantone palettes (such as Mauve Chalk and Cream). A unique challenge arose: the client wanted to incorporate metallic shimmering threads for a stripe effect but was concerned about comfort.

Technical Adjustment: To meet their requirement (“make sure they’re soft and not scratchy”), we sourced a specialized soft-touch lurex yarn. This allowed us to achieve the desired visual sparkle without compromising the skin-friendly texture of the bamboo sock.

Phase 3: Final Adjustments & Commercial Agreement

Uncompromising Color Standards The client’s design aesthetic required precise Pantone matching. To ensure the physical product perfectly mirrored their vision, it takes long time on custom-dyed yarns before producing the second round of samples. By January 2021, the refined samples were delivered, receiving immediate praise for their color accuracy.

With all details polished, we finalized the specifications for the initial bulk order.

What started as a single inquiry in 2020 has evolved into a strategic partnership spanning over 5 years. As the brand grew to become one of the top maternity companies in the US, we scaled our production capacity alongside them. Today, we continue to support their expansion with consistent quality and rapid R&D for new product lines, proving that we are not just a manufacturer, but a long-term growth partner.

US Medical Compression Socks

USA 6,336 Pairs 15–20 mmHg
Initial Requirement

A U.S. medical supply distributor found us through our website and needed private-label 15–20 mmHg knee-high compression socks in sizes S–XL, with their logo knitted into the sock, a 3-pair retail box and an instructions-for-use leaflet.

Key Concerns

Landed cost under new U.S. tariffs, documentation for their regulatory team, and whether a new supplier could hold the same quality from samples to bulk production.

Partnership Summary

The first order of 6,336 pairs passed final inspection on the ship date promised at the start of production. In 2025 the client placed three purchase orders, visited our factory, and added beige compression socks and diabetic socks to the range.

Phase 1: Inquiry, Samples & Pricing

The buyer’s first email listed two compression classes (15–20 and 20–30 mmHg), six sizes including full-calf options, and three styles. Two days after they confirmed, we shipped 4 pairs of stock samples free of charge, with the buyer covering only the courier cost.

Their verdict: the quality met their standards, but price was a concern with new tariffs ahead. After reviewing the options, they chose to proceed at the original price and quantity, starting with black knee-high socks and adding styles as volume grows.

Phase 2: Private-Label Details & Documentation

The stock sample was white with a blue sole panel. The buyer wanted an all-black body with their logo in white, so we knitted the logo into the sole pattern and added a knitted size mark inside the cuff for quick sorting.

  • 3 pairs and 1 instructions-for-use leaflet per folding box
  • Box artwork and carton labels coded by size (S / M / L / XL)
  • 88 boxes (264 pairs) per export carton

Before launch, the buyer’s regulatory team asked for FDA registration details, compression testing and durability information. We supplied our FDA establishment registration documents, explained how compression is measured on our in-house tester, and offered third-party durability testing if required.

Phase 3: Pre-Production Sample & Bulk Production

With the purchase order confirmed, we knitted 12 pre-production pairs (3 per size) with the final logo and size marks and sent them by express courier. The buyer approved all four sizes within three days of dispatch and released bulk production the same day, with a target ship date of May 26.

Phase 4: Packaging, Inspection & Shipment

Printed box samples were couriered to the buyer before packing began, and the packaging was approved on May 20. Final inspection was completed on May 26, the ship date set when production started:

  • AQL 2.5 sampling (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4), 200 pairs checked
  • 0 major and 0 minor defects found
  • Sizes, packing method and barcodes verified

The 24 export cartons were split between air and sea freight and collected from our factory by early June.

Phase 5: Repeat Orders & a Growing Range

After launch, the buyer’s quality team asked how compression is measured. We tested all four sizes on our Swisslastic MST MK V and shared the readings.

In August the client placed a restock order, ready to ship 20 days after the deposit. In November a client representative visited our factory, and we sent a quotation for new styles the same day. In December a third purchase order arrived: black restock plus first orders of beige compression socks and white diabetic socks.
