Grip Materials & Coverage Options
Grip is applied by the specialist workshops we qualify, to the material and layout your spec calls for. Our OEKO-TEX® certificate covers the yarns; documentation for the grip layer itself is requested from the workshop on a per-project basis.
Silicone
Heat-set into the fabric rather than printed on top. Holds fine detail and stays flexible with the knit, so dot, line, logo and crest shapes all reproduce cleanly.
PVC
The lower-cost option for high-volume runs. Takes strong 3-D colour and thicker raised shapes than silicone.
Flocking
A soft, fabric-like grip layer with a thinner profile than printed dots — for lines where handfeel matters as much as traction.
Coverage & layout
Full-sole coverage
Grip distributed across the whole footbed.
Targeted grip zones
Coverage concentrated where the brief calls for it — forefoot, heel or arch.
Double-sided grip
Grip on both the inner and outer surface, where hold inside the sock is needed as well as on the floor.
Buyer-defined pattern
Your own grip map, developed from your artwork at the sampling stage.

Frequently Asked Questions For Grip Socks Bulk Sourcing
Get answers to common questions about our products and services
What is the minimum order quantity for custom grip socks?
MOQ varies by grip sock line: 800 pairs for football and soccer, 2,000 pairs per design for trampoline socks (splittable into 1,000 per colour or size), and 1,000 pairs for other custom grip socks. Send us your target style and we will confirm the applicable MOQ.
What customization options are available for the grip socks?
We offer a wide array of customization options including sock material, color (Pantone matching available), size ranges, grip pattern (dots, lines, custom logos), grip material, and packaging. We can tailor the socks to meet specific performance needs or aesthetic preferences.
Which grip material is best for my application?
Silicone is heat-set into the fabric and holds fine detail, so it suits logo and crest work. PVC is the lower-cost option for high-volume runs and takes thicker raised shapes. Flocking gives a softer, fabric-like surface with a thinner profile. Which one fits is usually settled at sampling — see the grip materials section above.
What's the difference between Silicone, PVC, and Flocking grips?
Silicone is elastic and heat-set into the knit rather than printed on top. PVC is cost-effective and highly customisable in colour and 3-D shape. Flocking offers a soft, fabric-like feel with a thinner profile.
Can I get a sample of my custom grip sock design before placing a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend and facilitate pre-production samples. This allows you to approve the design, materials, and overall quality before we proceed with the bulk production, ensuring your complete satisfaction.
Do I need different grip socks for different industries?
Yes. Grip layout, sock height, yarn and packaging differ by line — cleat-compatible layouts for soccer, heavy tread for trampoline parks, double-sided tread for care settings, loose-top constructions for infants. Each line has its own page with the applicable specification.
